New Volkswagen Taigo Is Unsafe and Unreliable after Multiple Failures

On May 20, 2025, I purchased a brand-new VW Taigo Life, and despite having only 2,300 km on it, the car has already been to the service center three times. At 1,330 km, it would not accelerate and kept stalling; the service said it might be fuel-related but could not test it, so they cleaned the fuel tank, yet the problem was not solved. At 1,660 km, the same issue happened again, and they said it could be the injectors, which were replaced, but the issue continued. At 1,900 km, the same issue appeared once more, and this time they said maybe it was the catalytic converter, which was replaced, but the problem still persists. Volkswagen has essentially turned my brand-new car into a trial-and-error test vehicle, replacing parts without fixing the root cause. My car stayed in the service center for 12 days without a replacement vehicle, I was charged for the fuel tank cleaning, and when I requested a car replacement, a Doğuş Otomotiv representative (Ms. E***) dismissively told me, “Replacing a car isn’t easy, it’s not like buying a T-shirt from a store.” Right now, I cannot safely use my car because it may stall at any moment, and buying a brand-new car only to face such frustration, financial loss, and disrespect is unacceptable. My goal is not only to fight for my rights but also to warn other consumers, and my demand from Volkswagen and Doğuş Otomotiv is clear: replace my car or face the consequences of misleading and mistreating your customers. Buying a brand-new Volkswagen does not mean peace of mind — it can also mean a huge disappointment.
