My Viomi V5 Pro Keeps Deleting Maps and Shuts Down After Charging

I’ve been using the Viomi V5 Pro robot vacuum, and from the very beginning, I’ve experienced nothing but issues. Most recently, for the past month, I’ve been dealing with a major problem: after completing the mapping process and returning to the charging dock, the vacuum completely deletes the saved map. This happens every time, making it impossible to set cleaning zones or schedule efficient cleaning routines.

Before this, it already had several other problems—it couldn’t find the charging station, it would shut down on its own, and overall, the performance has been extremely unreliable.

I bought this product expecting smart features and convenience. Instead, I’ve spent more time troubleshooting than actually enjoying any benefit from it.

This is not acceptable for a device in this price range. If a robot vacuum can’t even retain a basic map or return to its base correctly, how is it supposed to clean efficiently?
