We bought a Vestel TV online some time ago. It started displaying a white screen shortly after the warranty period ended. After doing some research, I discovered that many others who purchased the same TV experienced the exact issue right after their warranty expired. I have no idea how they managed to time it this way. Initially, the white screen was minimal, and we did not pay much attention to it. However, over time, more lines appeared, and the white screen worsened. The TV, which used to freeze for a few seconds before returning to normal, now takes minutes to turn on and constantly shows a white screen. We have had screen-related issues with the TV from the start. While I do not expect anyone to resolve this problem, I believe we should at least inform and warn others.

A response came 2 or 3 days after I wrote this complaint. On the day the response came, another message arrived saying that a service appointment had been created. They gave a date, saying they would come and check on that date. We waited until 8 or 9 in the evening, but no one came, no one called. The next day, someone from customer service called and provided explanations. They said you can have it repaired for a fee since your warranty period has expired; the warranty period had expired 9 months ago. Looking at other complaints, it coincides with the same time. I also wanted the technical service to call me because I was curious about the cost. About an hour later, they called from the service and quoted a price equivalent to the price of the television. (11,000 TL) They did not come to check the malfunction, nor did they ask anything. A technical service that only knows there is a white screen said it would cost as much as the television itself, citing a panel malfunction. It seems they encounter this malfunction frequently. I never believed from the beginning that Vestel would resolve my grievance, but let this be a lesson to me. I will not make such a mistake again by saying "I will support domestic products." I should have paid a bit more and bought a higher quality imported television. They don't say "you can't buy quality cheaply" for nothing. This television will probably become unusable within a few months. In other words, a television that has been used for a little over 3 years will go to waste. Our relatives who used their white goods before had already said they were not good, but I thought they were exaggerating; they were not exaggerating, I understood that too.

After a month of discussions with Vestel, we reached a common ground; they replaced the television with a new one for a fee and gave a discount. Our problem was solved, thank you to everyone involved.
