Vestel Smart TV Payment Deducted, No TV Received
On March 11, 2024, I tried to buy a 43-inch Smart TV from vestel.com.tr. I paid ₺15,199.00 using Juzdan. But all of a sudden, the screens went completely black. So, I was going through my orders and guess what? There was no order like that. Can you believe it? But the payment was taken out of my card, and my card limit went down. When I reached out to my bank, they informed me that they were unable to assist and suggested that I get in touch with Vestel. When I gave Vestel a call, they insisted that I reach out to my bank and completely denied any knowledge of the order. I went through the process again, and when I called Vestel once more, they assured me that they would pass it along to their colleagues. However, I didn't receive any contact from them by the evening. I went through the exact same steps and got the exact same answer, but unfortunately, it didn't yield any results. On March 15th, I reached out to Vestel once more and expressed my intention to escalate the matter by filing a complaint with CİMER. After reviewing my card transactions, I noticed that the initial payment had been taken out. At long last, I managed to get in touch with someone named Mr. S**** after a series of emails and bank notifications. They promised to investigate the matter after receiving my detailed emails and bank alerts. However, today is March 18th, and despite receiving an email indicating that they would begin the process, no progress has been made. I've been charged, but still no sign of the TV. This is what the well-known Vestel has accomplished... Take this as a reminder to avoid getting caught in a similar situation, no matter how big or reputable the company may be.
