Vestel Air Conditioner Keeps Leaking Gas Under Warranty

Dear Authorized, Regarding my Flora Doğa brand air conditioner, which is under warranty, I have been experiencing a gas leakage problem that has not been solved for a long time. The problem of running out of gas continues even when I am not using the device; the technical team produces only temporary solutions in every intervention, no permanent action is taken. During repeated service visits, the problem was overcome with inadequate methods such as taping without supplying the part where the leak was located, which caused the problem to recur. Although the air conditioner has been refilled with gas 6-7 times in the last 1 year, no permanent solution has been offered by Vestel, including device replacement. In this process, I have suffered both time and financial losses and I demand a permanent and satisfactory result, not temporary solutions. Otherwise, I will use all my rights by applying to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and the relevant legal authorities. I request that this victimization be resolved urgently and an official explanation be made to me.

Update// The technician who came to your side examined the air conditioner remotely and concluded that there was 'no leakage.' When I asked how he reached this conclusion, he responded rudely and inappropriately by saying, 'I do this job.' This approach, which is far from professional and disregards customer satisfaction, is unacceptable. After this, I called a private service. Upon inspection, it was determined that there was a gas leak and that there was no gas left in the device. For this reason, I am requesting the replacement of the device. My first action on Monday will be to inform my lawyer about the issue and also to file an official complaint through CİMER. I deeply regret choosing the Vestel brand. Not only has the problem not been resolved, but the treatment I received is clearly against Consumer Rights.
