VakıfBank Deducted a Fee Without Consent and Refuses to Refund
During my loan application with VakıfBank, an amount was deducted for a service called “Kazandıran Tarife” without my consent or any prior explanation. Even though I later chose not to proceed with the loan, the fee for this package, which was deducted immediately without presenting any alternatives, was not refunded upon my cancellation. I submitted a refund request to customer service, yet I have not received the refund after two days. It is unacceptable for the bank to hold onto this fee that was taken from me instantly and for which I have requested a refund. While the bank charges daily interest on payments owed to it, I expect this refund to be returned to me with interest as well. If the payment is still not made, I will escalate my request to CİMER and file a claim with the Consumer Arbitration Board.
