I Was Charged Without Clear Consent by VakıfBank

On June 20, 2025, I took out a ₺50,000 loan from VakıfBank through the Sky Limit option. An amount of ₺2,268 was deducted from my account under the label “VakıfBank Kazandıran Tarife Fee Collection.” I request a full and unconditional refund of this fee charged under the so-called Kazandıran Tarife. It was not clearly stated that this fee would be deducted, and instead of a checkbox, there was a note saying, “loan use is not conditional on this and it can be canceled if requested.” After the deduction, I called customer service and was told it could not be canceled and that I needed to submit a written petition at a branch. I will not go to the branch. As clearly stated in Article 38 of Law No. 6502, such insurance or tariff-related actions cannot be carried out without the consumer’s explicit consent. Based on this, I demand that the full amount of the Kazandıran Tarife fee be refunded to my account. If the fee is not refunded, I will cancel the loan and all my cards and file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board.
