Enpara Failed to Block Unauthorized Apple.com/Bill Credit Card Charges
As a result of my Enpara credit card details being obtained without my authorization, three transactions totaling $168 were made on my card on October 17, 2026, at 10:08 PM under the merchant name APPLE.COM/BILL CORK IE. I have no idea where or when my card details were stolen, and I absolutely did not make these transactions myself. I did not receive any verification codes while the transactions were being processed; I only received SMS notifications after the payments had been completed. Since my card limit was reached, only these three transactions went through. Otherwise, there is no telling how much more could have been charged to my card.
As soon as I noticed the transactions, I contacted Enpara and filed a complaint, and my card was blocked. However, I was told that the investigation could take up to 45 days and that I would still have to pay the disputed amount during this period. Despite the transactions being made to a foreign company and involving such substantial amounts, I received neither an advance warning nor a security confirmation request. I feel completely unprotected because Enpara's security systems failed to prevent these transactions or even send verification codes.
I do not want to be held liable for transactions made without my knowledge or consent, and I request that this situation be resolved. Until the investigation is completed, I ask that the disputed amount not be added to my statement or, at the very least, that it be suspended, with no interest or additional fees charged during this period. I also request that the unauthorized transactions be cancelled and the amounts refunded to my card. Furthermore, I want to be informed about the causes of this security failure and ask that the necessary measures be taken to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
