Uber One Subscription Charged Without Consent

I am an Uber user in Istanbul and I recently discovered that regular charges have been made from my credit card for an Uber One membership without my clear knowledge and consent. After a one‑month free trial, the membership continued as a paid subscription, and although I have not been actively using the application, 4.99 Euro has been taken from my credit card every month without any notification or warning. When I checked my credit card statement, I saw that the first charge was made on 21.08.2024 and that 4.99 Euro has been regularly collected each month up to and including 21.02.2026, making a total of 84 Euro. During this entire period, I did not receive any clear information, reminder, or warning that the free trial would convert into a paid membership, nor about the ongoing deductions. In addition, the fact that Uber does not have an accessible customer service number or clear communication channel made it impossible for me to directly reach support regarding this issue and cancel the membership in a straightforward way. I request that the entire amount of 84 Euro, which has been charged to my credit card for Uber One membership fees without my explicit and informed consent since 21.08.2024, be urgently and fully refunded to my card, and that my Uber One membership be cancelled so that no further charges are made.

Unauthorized deductions of €4.99 were made each month for my Uber One membership, totaling €84. Since 21.08.2024, I have been unable to get in touch, and my refund request has received no response. There has been no communication at all so far, and my experience has been terrible.
