I am writing to report a serious and ongoing issue with my Yapı Kredi Crystal credit card regarding 53 clearly fraudulent transactions totaling 3,611.79 USD, all made via Uber in the USA between 30 December 2025 and 4 January 2026. I was not in the USA, did not make or authorize these transactions, and they are clearly fraudulent. On 4 January 2026, as soon as I noticed the unauthorized transactions, I immediately called Yapı Kredi, reported the fraud, and had my card cancelled. I then opened a dispute for these transactions through the bank. Despite this, my dispute was rejected and I was forced to pay, and the bank is currently charging me 4.55% monthly interest on the full disputed amount, which is causing me serious financial damage. Uber has already confirmed to me that they refunded these transactions. However, Yapı Kredi claims that no refund transactions were received, even though some of the amounts were actually cancelled and refunded to my card. As of today, approximately 2,000 USD is still missing and has not been reflected as a refund on my card, and the interest continues to accrue on this fraudulent amount. I also have case and dispute numbers related to this issue, which I can provide for verification. I have been a Yapı Kredi customer for more than 10 years and hold a high‑limit credit card, yet in this clear fraud case my situation has not been taken seriously. My credit score has now decreased because of this unresolved fraud and the bank’s insistence on charging me for transactions I did not make. For the last three months, my emails to customer service have gone unanswered, no concrete solution has been offered, and I am not able to reach the chargeback unit directly to clarify the status of the refunds and the communication with Uber. In light of the above, I request that Yapı Kredi urgently re‑investigate this fraud case, correctly process all Uber refund transactions that have already been issued, refund the remaining disputed amount of approximately 2,000 USD that is still not reflected to my card, and reverse all interest and any related charges that have been applied on the fraudulent amount. I also request that my credit score and record be corrected accordingly, and that I receive a clear written explanation of the final outcome of this case.
