Uber Eats Wouldn't Let Me Change My Address and Now Refuses to Refund My $11 Order
On June 5, 2026, at 7:50 PM, I placed order #11295090187 through Uber Eats from a restaurant called SR Döner (Barbaros). Right after placing the order, I tried to change my delivery address, but the app gave me no way to do so. A customer service representative then reached out to the restaurant, but the restaurant flatly refused to cancel the order.
As a result, I received neither the food nor a refund. Despite $11 being charged to my credit card, customer service told me they could not cancel the order or issue a refund, and offered no solution whatsoever.
After the way Uber Eats has handled this, I genuinely don't know if I'll ever use the app again. The app's refusal to allow an address change, combined with the restaurant's rigid stance, left me completely without recourse. Since I never received the order and no refund was issued, I am requesting a full refund of the $11 charged to my card.
I was scammed in literally 5 minutes! There's no other explanation for this. The perpetrator ends up with snow. It's a sin!
