Turkish Airlines Website Redirects to Another Company's Ticket Sales
I visited the Turkish Airlines website to purchase a round-trip ticket from Milan to Istanbul. On the ticket purchasing section, there was an option at the bottom labeled 'Ajet' with a lower price. Seeing this option on the Turkish Airlines site, I decided to buy the ticket. However, during the purchase process, I was redirected to the Ajet section. Due to the attractive price, I bought the tickets. About 1-2 hours later, I researched online and discovered that the company I thought was Anadolu Jet was not affiliated with Turkish Airlines. When I called Turkish Airlines for information about the ticket, they informed me that this company was not theirs and that they could not take any action. When I asked why the company's price information was on their system and why they were misleading people, they responded, 'This is a new company, and we have no connection with them.' They only provided me with Ajet's phone number. It took me two hours to reach the company by phone, and they refunded my ticket at a very low amount. When I asked for information about the model of their planes, they did not provide any answers. Additionally, this company's flight information is not available on websites like Enuygun or Skyscanner. I have concerns about flight safety; after all, human lives are at stake. It is unacceptable from a Consumer Rights perspective that Turkish Airlines' website features flights from a company they claim to have no affiliation with, misleading people. If you purchase a ticket from the section labeled 'Ajet' based on its price, be aware that you are being misled. I would also like to point out that the refund was only a tenth of the ₺13,500 ticket price. I leave it to your judgment to decide how honest this situation is. Please warn your loved ones about this.
