Turkish Airlines Took My 75,000 Miles And Left Me With No Upgrade
I am writing regarding my Turkish Airlines flight on 9 June 2026 on the route Saint Petersburg – Buenos Aires. For this flight, I paid for an upgrade to a service class using 75,000 miles. In order to make this upgrade possible, I first had to purchase additional miles, and according to Turkish Airlines’ own tariffs, the value of 75,000 miles is 2,250 USD. After the upgrade was successfully processed, Turkish Airlines made a slight change to the departure time of the flight. Following this minor schedule change, my confirmed upgrade disappeared from the booking, but the 75,000 miles that had been used for it were not returned to my account. I contacted customer support several times and tried to resolve the situation through them, but I did not receive any effective help, and the issue remained unresolved. In view of the above, I request that Turkish Airlines either fully restore my upgraded service class for this flight or return the 75,000 miles deducted from my account, which corresponds to a value of 2,250 USD. I ask for this matter to be reviewed urgently and for a clear written response.
