Turkish Airlines Reward Ticket Issue
On August 3rd, Thursday, at 19:20, Turkish Airlines offered me a round-trip ticket as compensation for changing my Istanbul-Trabzon flight to a flight that was 5 hours later. I accepted the offer and changed my flight time. I was told that I could use the reward tickets within a year on any date I wanted. However, the system did not allow me to adjust the dates of my reward tickets through the Turkish Airlines app. I then called customer service to specify the dates and get the tickets. Customer service informed me that these are 'pass tickets' and they cannot process them, and advised me to get the tickets from the airport sales office. I went to the Trabzon Airport sales office twice within a week. They made a reservation for my tickets and said that Turkish Airlines needs to approve it before they can issue the tickets. Turkish Airlines is not approving it, the airport sales office cannot process it, and customer service keeps saying they cannot handle 'pass tickets'. In short, Turkish Airlines is not keeping its promise. They are constantly delaying and making excuses. If they were not going to give the tickets, why did they inconvenience me? I changed my flight and flew 5 hours later with another plane. Turkish Airlines is trying every way not to give the two tickets. They are causing trouble for me and others. Do not believe Turkish Airlines' free ticket promise and do not change your ticket.
