In August 2023, I purchased a direct round-trip ticket from Ankara to Dubai from THY (TK4302, VT3HMC Reservation). However, on September 18th at 09:32, I received a flight change message from Anadolu Jet, informing me that my flight had been changed to dates that did not suit me and included a layover. From January 9-11, 2024, I repeatedly called THY customer service at 0850 333 08 49 to discuss the ticket change. Most of the time, the call dropped before I could speak, and when connected, I was told through a recorded message that I could change my ticket for free via the THY app. However, when I reached the final step of the ticket change process in the THY app on January 9-11, 2024, I encountered errors and could not complete the change. On January 11, 2024, I called +90(850)2423052 and was asked to pay an additional ₺22,000 due to the imminent flight and constantly updating prices. To avoid altering my plans, I made the payment (receipt attached). The next day, I received a message stating that my tickets had been changed for free. I called 0850 333 08 49 again and was informed that the current tickets were issued for free via the call center, and there were issues with customer service phones and the app on January 9-11, 2024. My wife's records at 0505********79 can be reviewed for verification. When I contacted +90(850)2423052 again, I spoke with someone who identified himself as Ufukair, claiming to take payments on behalf of THY and stating he was an agent. I filed complaints with THY (TK-10168485, TK-10178593) and received negative responses. I also filed complaint TK-10189136 and have yet to receive a response. I request a refund of the ₺22,000 paid. I am dissatisfied with the THY customer service system failures and the deceptive practices of Ufukair.
