Turkish Airlines Ruined My Honeymoon with Flight Changes in Dubai

I purchased a honeymoon package including flight tickets and hotel from Ankara ETS Tour. Our return flight TK4303 (05:30 - 08:50, 12.08.2023) was booked as a direct flight from Dubai to Ankara Esenboga Airport on 08.06.2023. However, we received a message stating: 'Dear Mr. Ozcan, your flight TK4303 has been changed to TK 7687 departing at 03:10.' We arrived at Dubai Airport around 23:30 to check in early, only to find out that our Ankara flight had been changed to an Istanbul flight TK 7687. We learned this at the airport; there was no prior call or clear information in the message about Istanbul. During check-in, they told us that my wife and I were on standby and did not allow us to board the plane. THY did not let us board in Dubai, stating that our tickets were on standby. THY claimed they couldn't put tickets on standby for international flights. I had to purchase new tickets from Pegasus Airlines for a flight to Istanbul two hours later, and then we traveled from Istanbul to Ankara. I contacted THY customer service, but they did not assist us and told us to complain wherever we wanted before hanging up. We trusted THY and bought tickets from them, but they left us stranded abroad. I am writing this to warn others not to suffer like us. I will file a complaint and take legal action in the Consumer Court. They ruined our honeymoon.
