Turkish Airlines Flight Boarding Issue and Financial Loss

I want to share an issue where I felt wronged. I want to file a complaint and seek your assistance. On 16/07/2024, I was affected during the 17:55 Trabzon flight. I arrived at the airport at 16:45, completed all my check-in procedures, and handed over my luggage. Then, I headed to the plane but had to make a quick stop at the restroom. When I arrived at the gate 20 minutes before departure, I was told that the gates were closed and that I could not be allowed in under any circumstances.

I had to get to my job, and I mentioned this multiple times, but they said the plane was fully booked. Even though the person handling the ticketing told me that I needed to complete the check-in process, my check-in was done without my knowledge. Despite all my explanations, they did not let me in. I had to purchase a new ticket.

Since the airport is large, it took a considerable amount of time to get to the other ticketing services. When we went to buy a ticket, they said there was no significant discount due to the flight time. They did not assist us much there either, applying only a minimal discount. Later, I found a flight ticket. While waiting at the airport at 1:20 AM, I noticed several things: first, for the Diyarbakir flight, they closed the gates 15 minutes before departure.

For the Ordu flight I boarded, they accepted passengers until the last moment. The flight scheduled for 1:20 AM departed at 2 AM, and they were still accepting passengers at 1:20 AM. I believe there is a discrepancy here. This is unfair and leaves citizens in a difficult situation. If they can accept passengers until the last moment on one flight, why did they close the gates 20 minutes before departure for the Trabzon flight?

This indicates that tolerance can be provided. I request a response from Turkish Airlines regarding this matter. As a company, we frequently fly with Turkish Airlines, and this is the first time we have encountered such an issue. There were no announcements or information provided at the airport. They only told me that it was written on the ticket and that I should know the rules.
