Turkish Airlines Didn't Perform Minor Assistance Service For My Daughter

On March 27, 2024, I sent my 12-year-old daughter on THY's TK1703 Istanbul to Stuttgart flight as an unaccompanied minor with assistance service. Since her ticket included the unaccompanied minor service, she was escorted to the plane at Istanbul Airport. In Stuttgart, an escort was supposed to pick her up, take her through passport control, and hand her over to the person meeting her at the airport. However, contrary to what we were told, she was sent out of the plane alone. When she asked the flight attendant for help, she was told, 'You can go by yourself.' I became aware of the situation when my daughter called me from passport control. Naturally, the passport police caused a lot of problems, and she had to wait there for a long time. After a lot of pleading, I managed to convince the passport officer over the phone to allow her entry into Germany. My 12-year-old daughter was very scared but luckily reached our acquaintances who were waiting for her. It is a major issue that THY promised this service but failed to deliver. I am very dissatisfied with all the flight personnel and THY services.
