Turkish Airlines Denied Me To Board Even 40 Minutes Before Departure!

On Friday, January 26th, at 4:30 PM (PNR code UDSIN8), I was denied boarding for my Edremit-Istanbul flight due to the gates and system being closed. When I arrived at the airport 40 minutes before departure and walked towards the counter, the staff informed me that I was too late and the gate had closed.
Initially, I thought I had enough time because there were exactly 40 minutes left until my flight. I cannot understand why the system would close with so much time remaining, especially for a region with only one flight per day. Despite repeatedly explaining the urgency of my situation, as I needed to attend a wedding, the staff were extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic.
I was extremely disappointed with Turkish Airlines for the inconvenience I experienced while the plane was still on the runway in front of my eyes. Another passenger, who experienced the same issue, mentioned that they were allowed to board without check-in just 10 minutes before departure. I expect an explanation for this unfairness.
For a destination with only one flight per day, this situation is truly disheartening. Since my ticket was not promotional, I could not make any changes. I was left unable to reach my destination. I recommend that Turkish Airlines develop more constructive solutions for these strict systems and unhelpful counter staff on domestic flights.
