As someone who has flown to many destinations worldwide with Turkish Airlines for years, I recently flew from Istanbul to Kayseri and back to Istanbul with just a one-day interval.
The Istanbul to Kayseri flight was on a plane named 'Erzincan' and the business class section was spacious, comfortable, and had high-quality consoles, making the flight very enjoyable.
To experience the same comfort, I booked the return flight from Kayseri to Istanbul in business class again, but I encountered very poor service and an unbelievably bad business class experience. The CIP lounge had only a few dry pastries and lacked options, which was not fitting for an industrial city like Kayseri. Additionally, I had to wait for dozens of people to board the plane. They did not separate the business and standard sections! It was a mixed boarding process.
Everything seemed fine until I saw the business class section, which was absurdly set up with economy seats and an empty middle section. Friends, I am 190 cm tall, and I am not just interested in flying business class; I choose it because the seats are spacious and comfortable. However, this was a very bad experience for me.
On top of everything, our scheduled departure time of 11:35 was delayed to 12:50!
Why did I pay ₺5000 instead of ₺1650? I hope you can provide an answer.
