Turkish Airlines Broke Wheel on My Samsonite Suitcase After Flight TK1876
After my Turkish Airlines flight TK1876 from Milan to Istanbul, I discovered that one wheel of my Samsonite suitcase was completely broken off, and the entire suitcase was covered in scratches. I immediately reported the damage at the airport's service desk. The staff documented the incident and provided me with a damage report number: 2024143549 // ddp ISTTK54369. They instructed me to file a damage claim using this number in their system.
Despite repeatedly uploading all required documents—boarding pass, passport, luggage tag, and photos showing the damage—I kept receiving emails stating that I hadn't uploaded one of the necessary items. Even though I followed all procedures correctly, THY's system kept displaying messages that some documents were missing.
I've spent days trying to resolve this issue without any response from Turkish Airlines. The damage was officially noted by their staff, and I've sent all required information multiple times, yet my problem remains unaddressed. I am demanding that my suitcase be replaced or that I be compensated for the damage.
It's incredibly frustrating that Turkish Airlines is neglecting its customer in such a clear-cut case of baggage damage. I expect prompt action to rectify this situation.
