Overhead Bin Incident on Turkish Airlines TK1372 Flight

On November 27, 2023, during Turkish Airlines flight TK1372 from MLA to Istanbul, I was seated in seat 13C when the overhead bin across from me unexpectedly opened, causing a small cabin bag to fall on me and then to the floor.
At the time, the cabin crew were seated and did not witness the incident. After disembarking, I reported the situation to the cabin supervisor, who only offered well wishes and said they would inform the technical team about the bin. I expressed my intention to file a complaint. The following day, I obtained a doctor's report due to joint pain and was unable to continue working. A fellow passenger, Turkish citizen m** t***, witnessed the incident.
It is truly disappointing that a globally recognized airline like Turkish Airlines has overhead bins that do not close properly, endangering passenger safety. I am requesting compensation for both my material and emotional damages.
