My Suitcase Got Damaged After the Flight With Turkish Airlines

On March 23, 2024, during my Kahramanmaras-Ankara flight, one side of my suitcase, which I handed over in good condition, was torn off and my suitcase was damaged during transportation. When I went to the responsible office before leaving the airport, they gave me an information sheet stating that since it was not completely torn or broken, a new one would not be provided, and I needed to have it repaired and send the invoice to the specified email address. Moreover, the staff at the airport tried to fix the interior parts of my damaged suitcase by opening it. However, one of the metal rods used for carrying was broken, and the other was still intact; therefore, they requested that I get it repaired and send the invoice. Additionally, I lost time there, I was very sick, and I missed my bus. I was inconvenienced in every way because of your company. Now I ask, is it my responsibility to repair and manage the process of a suitcase damaged due to an action entirely caused by your company? Or should your company rectify its mistakes? I kindly request that you compensate for this situation, which was not caused by me and has caused me distress, by sending a new suitcase. I do not have the time to get the suitcase repaired and I do not want to manage a situation that is not related to me. Therefore, I request your support.

I have not yet received a response. We kindly request your support in getting back to us since April 22nd.
