On February 27, 2023, I purchased a round-trip ticket for DXB-IST and IST-DXB. Ticket number: 2352114999144. I only used the DXB-IST leg and had to defer the IST-DXB (March 7, 2023) leg. To use this deferred ticket, I called customer service at +908503330849 on February 19, 2024, around 10:49 AM TR time. During this call, I was informed that I could reissue the ticket until February 27, 2024, and that I could reissue it for a later date. The representative suggested using February 26, 2024, as a reference to avoid any issues. After determining my schedule and the new ticket date, I called the same number again today, February 26, 2024, around 3:15 PM TR time. During this second call, I was again informed that I could reissue my ticket for a later date and requested a ticket for September 1, 2024. The representative made a reservation with the code WGE7AG but could not issue the ticket, citing a system problem. They assured me that a manual process would resolve the issue within half an hour and that I would be informed. If I didn't receive a response, I was told to call the same number for an update. When I didn't hear back, I called again around 4:34 PM. The third representative confirmed the system issue and said it could be resolved manually. While waiting for this error to be fixed, I received a call from +904440 849, informing me that the ticket could not be issued after February 27, 2024. They offered to issue a ticket for the next day if I agreed. I wanted to open a case through the call center, but due to staff issues, I was asked to provide written feedback. Since three different Turkish Airlines representatives informed me that the ticket could be reissued for a later date, I believe this is not a coincidence and created case number TK-10416621. I am also submitting this written complaint here, requesting that this significant inconvenience, which cost me both serious time and money, be resolved.
