I Missed My Connecting Flight with My Baby Due to Delay by Turkish Airlines

On 04.01.2024, I had a flight with Turkish Airlines (PNR code: TZSSFU) from Batman to Izmir with a layover in Ankara, traveling with my 8-month-old baby. Due to a short delay on the flight from Batman to Ankara, the connecting flight TK7016 from Ankara to Izmir, associated with ticket number 2352213014808, departed without us, as if we were responsible for the delay. Upon arrival in Ankara, we were informed that the flight to Izmir had taken off without us. My baby and I were left alone and helpless at Ankara Esenboga Airport. We had to purchase another ticket (ticket number 2352213306974) for flight TK7016, departing at 22:55 from Ankara to Istanbul and then to Izmir, arriving at 03:25. We reached home at 04:00, during the cold winter night, at a time when my baby should have been sleeping. My baby suffered greatly. It was known that we had a connecting flight to Izmir, that the flight was delayed, and that I was traveling with a baby. The Ankara-Izmir flight took off right in front of our eyes. Turkish Airlines officials offered to place us in a hotel, but what could I have done alone with my baby in a hotel? Could I have stayed at a hotel with my luggage, stroller, and distressed baby? This behavior from Turkish Airlines is not the first; it is known to have caused inconvenience to passengers multiple times. They do not stand by their passengers, do not apologize, and do not address the inconvenience caused. All they care about is money. In the afterlife, money will not save you.
