On January 9, 2024, our flight scheduled to depart from Istanbul Airport at 18:35 and arrive at Ordu-Giresun Airport landed in Samsun Çarşamba at 20:00. Despite being told that we would be informed, the staff never provided any updates, and the process was entirely unplanned. We were told to wait for 15 minutes for vehicles to arrive, but it took a very long time, and a plane full of people had to wait in the cold and rainy weather. The arriving vehicles mixed Ordu and Giresun passengers, and when passengers asked for information, THY staff started scolding them. When people asked where the vehicle was going, they were rudely told, 'Weren't you supposed to land at the airport anyway, what changed?' To those asking if the vehicle would stop at Ordu bus station, they replied rudely, 'Isn't Ordu before Giresun?' Since I arrived in Ordu at a very late hour, around 23:30, I wanted to get off at a stop on the route close to my home in the city center. When I expressed my concern to the driver about how I would get home as a woman at this hour with no city transport available, the driver rudely raised his voice and told me I could take a taxi. As if we weren't already inconvenienced enough, he started yelling at other passengers, saying, 'We took the initiative to drop you off, don't push it.' I barely managed to get home at midnight, even though I had planned to arrive in Ordu at 20:00. Despite my home being close to the main road leading to the airport and having a stop where the bus could have dropped me off, I arrived home 4 hours later than planned. Due to these unplanned events, I arrived home much later than expected, we were left waiting in the cold, we were not attended to, and we were subjected to rude and mocking remarks from the staff. I request to be contacted regarding this matter and to have the flight miles I used to purchase the ticket refunded.
