Extra Fee Was Charged for Reactivating My Turkish Airlines Ticket
During my call with customer service regarding the ticket we kept open for my daughter, I was informed that I needed to pay 60 EUR to keep it open and 80 EUR to reactivate it, totaling 140 EUR. Additionally, I was told that if there was a price difference between the date I purchased the ticket and the date I reactivated it, this difference would be added to the amount. However, the ticket price I originally paid was $377, and on the date I wanted to reactivate it, the price was lower at $371. Despite there being no additional amount to be added, I was quoted an extra fee. When I tried to reactivate the ticket, I was asked to pay around 230 EUR. I objected, stating that I was not informed about this, that I accepted the 140 EUR fee, and that my daughter is currently in Morocco with her three-month visa about to expire, needing to leave by November 28 at the latest. I emphasized that the ticket needed to be reactivated urgently and that I required an immediate response. Despite multiple feedback attempts, Turkish Airlines has not responded to me. What kind of service is this?
"Why doesn't Turkish Airlines respond to complaints? Is it because we found their shortcomings? They are not refunding my money."
