Charged ₺243.84 After Switching from Turkcell Despite Being Promised No Penalty
I switched to a Turkcell postpaid plan after being assured repeatedly—both at branches and through the app—that I could cancel within one month without incurring any fees. Trusting this, I decided to move back to Türk Telekom just three days later. However, I received a bill on January 10, 2025, stating:
"Your bill dated 10.01.2025 is ₺243.84, with a due date of 21.01.2025. Charges: Package ₺29.84 | Other Fees ₺214.00."
This charge is completely unjustified, as I was explicitly told there would be no penalties. I urge Turkcell to honor their promise and resolve this issue for both of my lines immediately. Otherwise, I will escalate this matter through legal channels.
