I am raising a complaint regarding my 26 GB data plan with Turkcell, which I've used for 10 months without issue until the last two months, during which my data has run out unusually fast. Last month, my package was depleted quicker than expected, despite only using social media, browsing, and occasional movie streaming, forcing me to purchase additional data. This month, even more concerning, only 3 GB remained after just 7 days. Upon investigation, I remembered Turkcell had contacted me to renew my contract, which has 2 months left, and while my current plan costs ₺345, renewing would raise it to ₺520. I retained my plan until expiration, as my data usage had previously been sufficient. However, Turkcell’s refusal to open a complaint record and address my concern leaves me feeling pressured to renew under unfair conditions. I hope this matter will be resolved without needing to escalate it to the Consumer Arbitration Board.
