Turkcell Created A Data Plan Without My Consent

My 12-month contracted package expired, and Turkcell automatically renewed it without informing me. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that I had continued the package without a contract. I explained that I did not approve of this and did not want to pay the ₺142 fee for the package in April. They suggested that I switch to a prepaid package, but I was not previously informed of this option. Furthermore, I did not authorize the continuation of the no-contract package, yet it was automatically renewed. When I informed the customer representative that I did not wish to pay for this service and did not want to continue with the package, I was told that I could avoid the fee by creating a new package with Turkcell. However, as I have no intention of remaining with Turkcell, I see no reason to create a new package simply to avoid paying ₺142.

When I called the customer representative before the end of my commitment, I asked if I needed to take any action since my commitment ends today and I do not want a package when it ends. The representative informed me that I do not need to take any action. However, when I switch to a different operator, a rounded ₺12 fee will be reflected on a daily basis until my line is activated. I was informed that activation would take approximately four business days if it was purchased through dealers. Therefore, I had no issue paying ₺48 for the four-day period. However, I was not informed that my package would not be automatically renewed and that I would be charged a non-contractual package fee. I was told that a flat rate of ₺12 per day would be charged. I created two complaint records regarding this issue. The reason for the complaints was the customer representative's misinformation and the non-contractual package that was added without my approval. If I am not interested in paying the fee, I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
