Trip.com Fails to Provide ARN Code for Missing Refund
I made a one-night reservation through Trip.com for the Phi Phi Sand Sea View Resort in Thailand for April 22–23 (reservation number 1638318781986930). At the time of booking, it was clearly stated that I had the right to free cancellation and a full refund. I paid $119 with my debit card.
The hotel canceled my reservation, and Trip.com informed me that the refund had been processed. However, despite several weeks passing, the refund has still not appeared in my bank account. I contacted my bank and was told that the reference number provided by Trip.com does not exist in their system.
I have contacted live support multiple times and specifically requested the 23-digit ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) required for my bank to locate the refund, but this code has not been provided. I keep being told that the refund has been issued, but I have not received any funds.
Due to this unresolved issue for weeks, I am experiencing significant inconvenience. I request that Trip.com urgently provide a valid ARN code that proves the refund was actually processed and ensure that my issue is resolved immediately.
