Turna.com Did Not Disclose That My Transavia Flight Was a Charter Flight
On June 10, I purchased a €210 ticket through Turna.com for Transavia flight from Lyon to Izmir, scheduled for Sunday, June 28 at 7:50 AM. During the booking process, I was not given any information indicating that this was a charter flight. I later learned that charter flights may have a higher risk of cancellation and that such cancellations can cause serious problems for passengers.
My 90-day permitted stay in Europe was due to expire the following day. Therefore, if this flight were canceled, I could potentially face serious consequences, including being unable to obtain another visa and possibly being subject to a financial penalty. In such a critical situation, failing to clearly disclose that the flight was a charter flight at the time of purchase could put me at significant risk and cause serious inconvenience.
There is also a separate issue regarding my baggage allowance. When I purchased the ticket, both the Turna.com website and the confirmation email I received from Turna clearly stated that my ticket included 10 kg of cabin baggage and 20 kg of checked baggage. However, the ticket that was ultimately issued appears to show only a 20 kg checked baggage allowance. I have not received any explanation regarding this discrepancy.
I repeatedly tried to contact Turna.com by both email and messaging, but I have not received any response whatsoever so far. Due to the lack of clear information about the charter status of the flight and the incorrect or incomplete baggage information provided during the booking process, I have been placed in a very difficult situation.
I request that Turna.com resolve the inconvenience caused by this lack of information and the discrepancy in my baggage allowance. In particular, because the fact that this was a charter flight was not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase, I request that my ticket be canceled and that the full €210 I paid be refunded to me.
