Toyota Hilux Locked Itself with Keys Inside – Roadside Assistance Too Slow
My so-called "smart" Toyota Hilux locked itself while I was moving from the passenger side to the driver’s seat. My keys were in my bag, yet the truck still automatically locked with my dog and belongings inside!
I immediately called Toyota Roadside Assistance, expecting urgent help. Instead, I was left waiting for 7 minutes just to reach a technician. When I finally did, he told me he was nearby but still wouldn’t arrive for at least 45 minutes. How is this acceptable for an emergency service?
Toyota, do you even have enough staff in your roadside assistance team? Giving me a technician’s personal number instead of fast support is completely unprofessional. I will escalate this complaint to Toyota Global! Fix your response times!
