Delayed Repairs and Disappointing Service at Toyota Authorized Service Center

My Toyota Corolla was involved in an accident. On May 15, 2023, I took it to the authorized Nataş service center in Istanbul Göztepe for repairs covered by my insurance. When I spoke with the staff in the repair department, they mentioned that there was a technician shortage and that there were many cars waiting in line. I was skeptical when they told me that I would have to wait a long time. The authorized representative I spoke with explained that eight of their twelve technicians had left at various times, and they were currently struggling to keep up with the workload with only four technicians. My car was eventually repaired, but they ran into difficulties locating a specific part. They informed me that the part could only be obtained by June 20, 2023. This meant being without a car for a total of 35 days in Istanbul's demanding conditions, which was extremely inconvenient. I have children who need to be driven to and picked up from school, and I rely on my car for commuting. My wife is also working, and we are in a bind without a car. Despite the circumstances, I did not lose my goodwill because of my faith in the brand. However, I recently had another conversation with them. They now claim that they will only be able to obtain the part in the first week of July, resulting in a two-month delay. This goes beyond the upcoming Eid holiday, as we must visit our families. I'm furious; I'm at a loss for words. I'm tempted to take the car out of the shop and disassemble it in front of their service center as a lesson to everyone. Perhaps then, after holding my car hostage for more than three months, they will provide an update. Is there no way to solve this? Can't you provide a replacement vehicle, either from Toyota or Nataş authorized service, if your part supplier fails to deliver the part on time? Is the brand truly helpless? They are polite and courteous during our phone conversations, promising to find a solution and contact me within two business days, but there is no actual resolution. I'm 50 years old and a die-hard Toyota fan. I've never driven anything other than Toyotas, and I've always had my cars serviced at Toyota dealerships. However, this incident has completely shattered my faith in the brand. 😔😔😔
