I Face Repeated Safety Failures in My 2025 Toyota Corolla 1.5 Vision Plus
I’m very disappointed with the recurring safety issues I’ve faced with my 2025 Toyota Corolla 1.5 Vision Plus. On three separate occasions — June 10, June 20, and July 19, 2025 — multiple warning lights appeared on the dashboard while driving. Each time, I also received alerts that the vehicle’s driver assistance systems were not functioning.
After the first incident, the authorized service center simply cleared the error logs and returned the car. Following the second issue, they replaced the engine control unit (ECU), motor control module, and performed a software update. Shockingly, just 170 km later, the exact same malfunction occurred again. This time, the service team didn’t even record the incident or provide any substantial explanation.
During these breakdowns, my car’s safety dramatically declined. The brakes weakened, the vehicle began shaking and making abnormal noises, and even stalled — at which point I discovered the electronic parking brake wouldn’t engage. This posed a serious threat not only to me but also to everyone else on the road.
I demand a permanent resolution from Toyota for these serious safety and performance failures. I no longer feel safe driving this car. I insist on a comprehensive technical inspection, and considering the loss of trust and repeated issues, I request either a full return or replacement of my vehicle.
