Tesla Model Y Navigation Led Me Off-Road, Caused Damage and Battery Failure in Snowstorm

While driving my Tesla Model Y from Ankara to Aksaray, the system assured me that I had enough charge for the journey. However, the navigation suddenly rerouted me through rough village roads as a “shortcut.” These roads were barely passable, and there was no proper pavement. Eventually, the battery died right in the middle of a snowstorm on a narrow two-lane road heavily used by trucks.
As if that wasn’t enough, the awful roads Tesla sent me through caused visible damage to the car’s front bumper. And what did Tesla do about it? Absolutely nothing. They refused to take any responsibility for the damage their navigation system caused. I had to pay ₺16,000 out of pocket to repair the bumper. What’s worse is that the bumper is made of thin plastic and incredibly fragile for a country like Turkey. To make things even more frustrating, critical components like the horn are packed into that bumper, making it even more vulnerable.
I bought this vehicle thinking it would be reliable for out-of-town business trips, but now I don’t even feel safe taking it beyond city limits. How can I trust Tesla’s navigation again? This experience left me extremely disappointed. Tesla, please take accountability and fix your navigation reliability before someone ends up in an even worse situation.
