I ordered several items from Temu, including socks and a T-shirt. Unfortunately, the socks arrived in a much smaller size than expected, and the T-shirt was an Asian size instead of the European size I selected. Due to the sizing issues, I decided to return the items. The return process was completed properly, but when I received my refund, I noticed that the amount was lower than what I originally paid. I contacted customer support, and they claimed that the missing amount was due to customs duties collected by the government. However, I have previously returned products to Temu and always received a full refund without any deductions. I find it completely unreasonable to pay taxes on items I returned and never used. This kind of practice feels unfair and misleading to customers. Because of this experience, I will no longer be shopping from Temu, and I strongly advise others to be cautious as well. My request to Temu is simple: Please refund the deducted tax amount from my return. Customers should not be penalized for returning defective orcorrectly sized items.
