SunExpress Flight Delays and Disrespectful Staff—Worst Travel Experience
I had a flight with SunExpress from Ankara to Düsseldorf, and it was a complete disaster. On the outbound trip, the flight was delayed by 50 minutes. On the return, the airport staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Our flight was scheduled for 20:05, and we checked in our baggage around 19:00 without any issues. Later, an employee casually told us to relax as our flight was far off. We barely made it through passport control, and when we reached the gate, one of the staff members began yelling and belittling us, claiming we were an hour late. She continued to mock us, even though we explained that the delay was due to passport control. If we were truly late, why did they accept our baggage at check-in? There was no warning about the timing or changes. After a call for approval, we were finally allowed to board, but her attitude remained disrespectful. To top it all off, the flight was delayed again by an hour after boarding. The entire experience was chaotic and unorganized. I will never fly SunExpress again.
