I Faced Delays, No Information, and Damaged Baggage on SunExpress Antalya-Zurich Flight
On August 31, we had a 2:55 PM flight from Antalya to Zurich with SunExpress Airlines. Without any explanations, staff members kept coming and going, and we ended up standing in line for a full hour. Boarding was supposed to start at 1:55 PM, but at that time, we were still waiting in line. Despite several staff members passing by, no one provided any information. At 2:55 PM, the screens displayed "Go to Gate," yet we were still in line when we should have been taking off.
They finally allowed us inside at 3:30 PM, again without any explanations. Meanwhile, the screens were showing "Last Call," but we were still waiting. Once we boarded the plane, we waited over an hour before it took off. After landing and collecting our luggage, we found that one of our suitcases was broken—clearly, no care was taken, and we were inconvenienced. We experienced delays on both our outbound and return flights, both without any prior notice. Because of the delay on our return trip, we had to pay extra fees at the parking garage for overstaying. Not even water was offered to us as an apology. This kind of treatment is unacceptable.
