SunExpress Charged Me €80 for 7.5kg Cabin Bag and Refused to Give a Receipt
At Izmir ADB airport, I was charged €80 for my 7.5 kg cabin-sized luggage. When I questioned it, the attendant arrogantly commented, "you may not get on the plane" if I refused to pay. What made it worse was that, while waiting in the gate line, the attendant wandered around and didn't inform me about the charge until just 5 minutes before the flight. It felt like I was deliberately misled. When I asked if I could leave my suitcase, the cleaning staff said they would take it to the lost luggage section. Even after I paid the fee in cash, I requested a receipt, but the attendant said he couldn't provide one and would send it by email after I got off the plane. It's been 4 days, and I still haven’t received any document or invoice. I’ve never experienced such an outrageous situation in my life. Until this issue is resolved positively, I will avoid Sunexpress at all costs and will make sure to share this experience with everyone I know.
