StubHub Sold Me an Invalid Ticket and Never Refunded My Money

On February 25, 2026, I purchased a ticket through StubHub.com using my credit card for the UEFA Champions League match between Real Madrid and Benfica.

When I arrived at the stadium and attempted to enter the event, I was informed that my ticket was invalid. As a result, I was denied entry and was unable to attend the match despite having paid for a ticket in advance.

Immediately after the incident, I contacted StubHub customer service and explained the situation in detail. Following my complaint, I received an email from StubHub acknowledging the issue, expressing regret for the inconvenience, and confirming that I would receive a full refund for the amount paid.

However, despite this written assurance, no refund has been processed.

Since then, I have repeatedly contacted customer support, opened multiple requests, and sent numerous emails seeking an update. Each time, I was simply told to wait. Despite my patience and repeated follow-ups, no solution has been provided, no meaningful response has been received, and the promised refund remains unpaid.

The amount involved is approximately €206. What makes this situation particularly frustrating is that StubHub has already acknowledged the problem and confirmed that I am entitled to a refund. Nevertheless, the company has failed to fulfill its own commitment.

As a customer, I paid for a service that was never delivered. I was unable to attend the event because the ticket provided to me was not valid, and despite receiving confirmation that I would be reimbursed, I am still waiting for the refund.

My StubHub account is registered under the name M***** H***** F**** and the email address m***********@windowslive.com.

I respectfully request that StubHub immediately process the full refund of €206 to my original payment method and provide written confirmation once the transaction has been completed.

I also request a clear explanation as to why the refund promised by customer service has not yet been issued despite the considerable time that has passed since the incident.

I expect this matter to be resolved promptly and in accordance with the commitment already made by StubHub.
