StubHub Refuses Ticket Cancellation and Refund for LP Istanbul Concert

I am writing to formally request the cancellation and refund of a concert ticket purchased through StubHub.

Today, approximately thirty minutes before submitting this complaint, I purchased a ticket through StubHub for the LP concert scheduled to take place at KüçükÇiftlik Park in Istanbul on August 14, 2026. The total amount paid for the ticket was ₺4,249.

Shortly after completing the purchase, I realized that the concert date conflicts with my existing international travel plans, making it impossible for me to attend the event. As a result, I immediately attempted to cancel the purchase and request a refund.

However, when I logged into my StubHub account, I was unable to find any option to cancel the order or submit a refund request. There was no visible cancellation button, refund section, or self-service process that would allow me to resolve the issue.

I then researched StubHub's policies and found information suggesting that the platform generally does not allow ticket refunds. I also noticed statements on the website indicating similar restrictions. For a ticket purchase of this value, I believe it is unreasonable for consumers to be left without any practical cancellation or refund option, especially when the request is made immediately after purchase.

I also attempted to contact customer support through the platform. Unfortunately, I was only able to communicate with a foreign-language customer service representative, and no practical solution or alternative was offered.

From my perspective, a system that completely eliminates any meaningful cancellation or refund opportunity for consumers creates a significant imbalance and causes unnecessary financial hardship. Given the circumstances, I am seriously considering pursuing my consumer rights through the appropriate legal channels, including the Consumer Arbitration Committee, if necessary.

I respectfully request that StubHub cancel my ticket order for the LP Istanbul concert and issue a full refund of the ₺4,249 paid for the purchase to my original payment method.

I also request written confirmation regarding the status of my refund request and a clear explanation of the available options for customers who need to cancel a ticket shortly after purchase.

I expect this matter to be reviewed fairly and resolved without unnecessary delay.
