I strongly advise against purchasing Smeg products. I recently bought a Smeg kettle in Turkey, and the surface of the kettle began to swell after a short time. I contacted the local distributor, but they were unhelpful and refused to help. I was frustrated and disappointed by their lack of assistance. After two weeks of waiting with no resolution, I decided to exchange the defective kettle for a new one. However, the distributor was unresponsive and seemed uninterested in assisting me. I feel as if I've been abandoned, and it's been a stressful experience. If you're considering purchasing a Smeg product in Turkey, I strongly advise you to reconsider. It is unacceptable that there is no customer service or support. I also believe that Smeg should speak with their Turkish distributor about their poor customer service and lack of support for customers who have problems with their products.
