On March 19, 2025, I purchased the Skechers D’Lites model sneakers from Skechers’ official website under order number 2565017. When I first received the shoes, there was already a tear on the side. Even though I only wore them three to four times a week for everyday use, within five to six months the shoes completely tore and lost their shape. The quality doesn’t feel like that of an original Skechers product — both sides began tearing, the stitching started cracking, and the inner lining began coming apart. Despite not using them for long, the shoes deteriorated severely. I’m very disappointed that such a defect isn’t covered under warranty.
After experiencing this issue, I contacted Skechers customer service, but they claimed it was due to “user error” and offered no solution. I wouldn’t expect such a problem from a product that cost this much. I intend to file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board as well.
I am requesting a refund or replacement for my product and ask that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
