In 2024, I paid a hefty amount for a pair of Skechers shoes, drawn in by all the hype about comfort, durability, and premium quality. But less than a year later, the shoes are literally falling apart—tears along the sides, the sole detaching, and visible wear that’s unacceptable for any shoe, let alone one from a so-called “quality brand.” I’ve attached pictures so Skechers can see the disgrace they’re selling.
Let me be clear—I didn’t abuse these shoes. They were used for light, everyday wear, not hiking or harsh terrain. Yet when I contacted Skechers, their response was a lazy, generic ‘not covered under warranty’ message. No inspection, no accountability, no respect for the customer.
It’s outrageous that a brand charging premium prices delivers such poor build quality—worse than bargain bin footwear. And what’s even worse is how they brush off legitimate complaints without even trying to investigate or resolve them.
Is Skechers really cutting corners and then hiding behind fine print? If you knew these shoes wouldn’t last, why sell them at this price? And don’t insult your customers by implying we’re at fault for basic wear and tear after a few months.
I demand either a full refund or replacement. Anything less would prove that Skechers has become a brand that values profits over people.
