Sixt Tirana Charged Deposit on Wrong Card – 3 Months and No Refund Despite Repeated Requests
On April 8th, I rented a car from Sixt in Tirana, Albania. The staff mistakenly charged the deposit fee of 75,000 ALL (approximately €750) to my bank card instead of my credit card. They acknowledged their mistake and assured me that the amount would be refunded within a few days. However, it has now been three months, and despite multiple emails, I have not received my money back. I reached out to Sixt's headquarters in Germany and Sixt Turkey, and made numerous phone calls, but nothing has been resolved. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I am disappointed with the lack of action and support from Sixt, making this the worst rental company I've dealt with.
