Between May 1–4, I rented a car from Sixt at Pristina Airport in Kosovo. At pickup, a €1000 deposit (around ₺45,000) was charged to my credit card. Upon returning the vehicle, the staff inspected it and confirmed that there were no issues, and I was told the deposit refund had been initiated.
However, the refund never arrived, and instead, the charge appeared on my credit card statement as a finalized debt. I contacted my bank, and they informed me that the refund was canceled the same day by the merchant—Sixt Kosovo.
Since then, I’ve received no response from Sixt Kosovo, and my repeated attempts to contact them have been ignored. This is not just a delay—it's negligence. I’m now left with a massive charge for a car I returned in perfect condition.
I demand that Sixt immediately investigate this issue and process the refund without further delay. If this isn’t resolved promptly, I’ll escalate the matter to legal authorities and consumer protection agencies. Customers should not have to fight for weeks to recover their own money after a trouble-free rental.
