Although my Siemens refrigerator (model KG55NCIE0N/08) is only 20 months old and still under warranty, I have experienced serious inconvenience during this process. I called authorized service to my address in Beşiktaş, Istanbul due to a display malfunction. When the technician plugged in the appliance, the refrigerator’s display suddenly burst and split apart, causing additional damage to the unit.

Despite this, the display and its cable were not covered under warranty, and I was charged approximately $65 USD for the replacement. After the repair, the lights of the refrigerator turned on and I was told it was working, so the technician left. However, the refrigerator was not cooling at all.

I was told to wait 48 hours, which I did, but the refrigerator still did not cool. I reported the issue again, and although service has visited twice since then, the problem remains unresolved, and I have been told they will come a third time.

I have been unable to use my refrigerator for 8 days, and all the food inside has spoiled, causing financial loss. Additionally, I have had to take time off work multiple times, resulting in both time and financial inconvenience.

Despite the appliance being less than two years old, almost every component has been replaced, yet it still does not function properly. I strongly object to being charged for parts after damage caused by the service team, especially since the product is under warranty and still not working.

I request that my refrigerator, which is less than two years old, be replaced with a brand-new unit rather than undergoing continuous repairs.
