Siemens Offered a Replacement Refrigerator but Kept Delaying the Delivery
2 months ago, we noticed that the normal compartment of our refrigerator, which we have been using for 5 and a half years, started freezing the products. We contacted the Siemens authorized service about this. The guy who came told us that the main card and another part had failed, but that the production of these spare parts had stopped. As a solution, he told me that I would be offered a replacement, but that checks would have to be carried out first. It took about 20 days for these checks and reports to come and go. In the meantime, our complaints continued and we were throwing away food every day. I would like to point out that I have a 20-day-old newborn baby and a 4-year-old child at home. Finally, they called me with an offer and said they would give me a new refrigerator for ₺39,000. I said that I had no intention of giving money again to a refrigerator brand that was garbage after 5 and a half years, asked for parts and refused. The next day, someone else called me and said that at least give me ₺10.000, parts and labor would cost this much on average. They said they would bring the new product in 3 days. I said let's not waste any more food, so I agreed and sent the payment. The real story started after that. It has been 2 weeks since I sent this payment and every day I received calls and messages saying that they would bring it today. Not only did it not arrive, but I was called by the headquarters and the authorized service and asked if I had received it. I was lied to over and over again every day. I reached the drivers of the logistics company, they said it was not in the warehouse. Finally, Ms. S*** called from the headquarters and said that you will definitely receive it today, I have the documents leaving the warehouse, the delivery unit will call you soon. Meanwhile, the Horoz logistics company official was telling me that they had never received the product from Siemens and that they were lying to me. Of course, he didn't show up and the next day, today, he told me that the product was actually damaged in the warehouse, so a new product would be supplied after 15 days. I am tired of being fooled into believing that Siemens does not have a refrigerator. My advice to everyone is to stay away from this brand if you do not want to use it for 5.5 years and if your refrigerator is garbage and you do not want to be treated like this.
They haven't sent the product despite a month passing and taking the payment from me, let alone solving my problem. I can't even find a contact person at Siemens. I will seek a solution through my lawyer. I urge everyone considering shopping from this company to think twice and be cautious.
