We received support from Siemens’ own technical service two months ago because our refrigerator was not cooling. The service personnel replaced the door switch, sensor, and styrofoam, but we later realized they were not acting in good faith. We were charged ₺5,300 for parts and ₺700 for the service fee, totaling ₺6,000. Although the refrigerator seemed to be repaired at first, its performance declined within just two weeks. When we contacted Siemens service again, the same technician returned, barely inspected the appliance, and insisted that it be taken away for further repair—demanding an additional ₺9,000–₺10,000. We refused and sought help from another service, only to learn that the previous repair was unnecessary; the only issue had been the door switch. Worse, the technician had installed a rusty switch (as seen in the attached photo), which caused the malfunction to return and left us without a working refrigerator for weeks. During this time, all our food spoiled, and we couldn’t even keep cold water in the peak of summer. This careless and dishonest service experience is completely unworthy of the Siemens brand.
